Student: Good morning. I’m calling to enquire about the seminar series advertised on the department’s noticeboard. The one titled ‘Biographies of Influence’.
Admin: Oh yes, it’s a very popular series. Are you interested in a particular session?
Student: Yes, the one this Friday on General Võ Nguyên Giáp. The poster mentions it will cover his main (1) achievements. I was wondering if it focuses more on his political or military career?
Admin: It primarily examines his military achievements, though his political life is obviously touched upon. The main focus will be his strategic genius during the Dien Bien Phu (2) battle. It’s a fascinating case study.
